Common Faults of Explosion-Proof IR Cameras

Nov 07, 2025 Zanechajte správu

1. Fogging or blurring of the image
Reason: Insufficient sealing leads to internal condensation (common in areas with large temperature differences, especially in the north), or poor heat dissipation from the infrared light and casing causes water vapor formation.
Solution: Choose models with nitrogen-filled design or a vent valve, and regularly check the aging of the sealing ring.
2. Infrared light is on but no image
Reason: Unstable power supply, camera malfunction, or damaged video transmission line.
Solution: Check the 12V power adapter and wiring, replace defective cables; if the camera is aging, replace the entire unit.
3. Night vision with snow or color cast

Insufficient current leading to unstable infrared light power.
Defective filter design (e.g., not using an IR-CUT dual filter).
Solution: Use a camera with a sensitivity of 0.01 lux or higher, and a matching IR-CUT filter switching mechanism.
4. Focus shift or blurry image
Reason: Different wavelengths of visible light and infrared light cause the focus to not coincide.
Solution: Use an IR-specific lens or an automatic focusing integrated camera.
5. Circuit failure or infrared light burnout
Reason: Poor circuit design or poor heat dissipation leads to component overheating.
Solution: Choose branded models (such as Hikvision, Dahua), and avoid products from small manufacturers that have not undergone aging tests.

Regularly clean the viewing window glass and check the grounding resistance (<=4Ω).
Avoid prolonged use in dusty environments; install a dust cover if necessary.
